Stealth & screen sharing
Keep Interview Sidekick invisible while you share your screen.
Turn on stealth
- 1
Open the desktop app
Stealth is a desktop-app feature (Mac and Windows). - 2
Press ⌘/Ctrl + Shift + S, or click the eye icon
An orange border tells you it's on. - 3
Turn it on before you join the call
Then share your screen as usual.
What stealth does
- Hides every Interview Sidekick window from screen sharing on Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex and more.
- Removes the app from your Dock (Mac) or taskbar (Windows). It runs under the system name SystemAgent.
- Keeps the overlay on top of your other windows, including full-screen apps.
- Keyboard shortcuts never take focus away from your interview or coding tab — and on Mac you can click and type in the overlay without your browser losing focus.
Best practice: share the specific window or browser tab you're presenting rather than your entire screen, and keep the compact overlay off that window.
Using Zoom on a Mac? Change one setting
- 1
Open Zoom › Settings › Share Screen
- 2
Click Advanced
- 3
Set Screen capture mode to “Advanced capture with window filtering”
Google Meet, Teams and Webex work without any change.
