Desktop vs Web vs Phone

Which way of running Interview Sidekick fits your interview.

Desktop app — recommended for live interviews

Mac (macOS 13 Ventura or newer) and Windows. It captures your computer's audio directly, so it works with any meeting app, and it's the only version with stealth mode, the compact floating overlay, keyboard shortcuts and screenshots. Download it here.

Web (Chrome)

Works without installing anything, but it can only hear a meeting that runs in another Chrome tab — you share that tab's audio when you press Record. If your interview is in the Zoom or Teams app, use the desktop app. There's no stealth mode in the browser.

Phone

Open Interview Sidekick in your phone's browser and set it next to your laptop speaker. It listens through the phone's microphone, so it hears both you and the interviewer — mute it while you're talking for the cleanest results. Great as a second screen; nothing runs on the computer you share. Upload your resume from a computer, since PDF uploads can fail in mobile browsers.

Your subscription works everywhere — just sign in with the same email on each device.
