Make answers sound like you
- 1
Upload your resume
Up to 8,000 characters are used — if yours is longer, trim it to the most relevant roles so earlier experience isn't cut off. - 2
Paste the job description
The AI tailors answers to the role and its requirements. - 3
Add context documents
Select up to 5 documents per session (8,000 characters each, 20,000 total) — project write-ups, notes on the company, anything you want it to draw on. - 4
Write 3–5 of your real stories
Short STAR-style notes on your best projects. Sparse notes are the #1 reason answers feel generic or invent details. - 5
Tell it how to answer
Add instructions like “keep answers under 60 seconds” or “use the STAR method” in your session's extra instructions.
No answer appears
Answers generate when you press Gen or ⌘/Ctrl + Enter. To have them appear on their own, turn on Auto-Generate. If the transcript is empty too, it's an audio issue — see Can't hear the interviewer.
It answered the wrong question
If a word was misheard — often a technical term or a name — type the question into the input box and send it. Answers are generated from the interviewer's side of the transcript, so if that side is empty, fix the audio first: Can't hear the interviewer.
Answers feel slow
Turn on Auto-Generate with the Snappy sensitivity so answers start as soon as the interviewer pauses, or press ⌘/Ctrl + Enter the moment you know the question.
