Quick start
- 1
Create your account
Sign up at interviewsidekick.com with Google or your email. - 2
Download the desktop app
Get it for Mac or Windows from the download page. It's the recommended way to use Interview Sidekick in a live interview. - 3
Allow audio access
On Mac, allow system audio and microphone access when asked (see Mac audio setup). On Windows, make sure one headset is your default output (see Windows audio setup). - 4
Add your resume and the job description
The AI uses them to answer in your voice, with your experience. See Resume, context & Auto-Generate. - 5
Run a free test session
Play a mock interview video and watch answers appear. How free test sessions work. - 6
Check stealth with a friend
Join a quick call, share your screen, and confirm they can't see the app. See Stealth & screen sharing. - 7
Subscribe when you're sure it works
. All sales are final, which is why the test sessions are free. - 8
On interview day
Open Interview Sidekick and press Record before you join the call, and keep the overlay off the window you share.
How it works
Interview Sidekick runs alongside your normal meeting app — Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex or anything else. You don't join the interview through it. It listens to your computer's audio, transcribes the interviewer's questions, and suggests answers based on your resume and the job. For coding rounds it can read a screenshot of the problem instead.
Still stuck? Email ben@interviewsidekick.com with what you tried and a screenshot, and we'll help you get it working.
