Remasto Review 2026: Pricing, Features, and Honest Verdict

On this page
Remasto is an AI mock interview studio: an AI interviewer avatar asks you questions, follows up on your answers in real time, and scores you afterward. It covers more than job interviews (visa interviews, MBA admissions, salary negotiation and communication practice) and it is cheap, with a free tier and a Premium pass listed at ₹299/month in India. The trade-offs: it is practice only, with no help during a real interview; the free tier is three 5-minute sessions; passes are non-refundable; and there is almost no independent review trail to check the marketing against. A good budget rehearsal tool, not a complete interview prep setup.
What is Remasto?
Remasto calls itself an "AI Practice Studio". You pick an interview type, an AI interviewer avatar asks you questions and dynamic follow-ups in real time, and you get instant feedback and analytics on areas like domain knowledge, articulation, problem solving, teamwork, communication and coding. Interviews can be set up by role, by company (its examples include Google, Microsoft, TCS and Infosys), or generated from your job description or resume.
What sets it apart is breadth beyond job interviews. Remasto also offers practice for visa interviews, MBA admission interviews, salary negotiation, general communication practice and skill assessments, plus a resume builder and analyzer. On the business side it sells an API, an embeddable widget and white-label versions, along with AI proctoring and tools for college placement and outplacement teams. The company's about page carries a founder's letter from co-founder Saumil Chandira.
Remasto is a rehearsal tool. Nothing on its site describes help during a real interview, so it does not compete with live copilots; it competes with other mock interview tools. It also has essentially no public review trail: when we searched in October 2026 we found no Trustpilot page, no G2 listing and no meaningful Reddit discussion. Its homepage stat counters did not render when we checked, so we could not confirm any user numbers. None of that means the product is bad, but you are relying on the vendor's own description, which is why the free sessions are worth using before you pay.
Remasto Pricing in 2026
Remasto sells passes rather than subscriptions: you pay once for a day or a month of unlimited practice, with no auto-renewal. Prices vary by country; these are the prices shown on remasto.com/pricing for India in October 2026. The plan that matters for real preparation is Premium:
- Unlimited practice attempts
- Sessions up to 30 minutes (custom interviews up to 15 minutes)
- Advanced AI feedback and insights, with downloadable reports
- Interview certificates
- Free tier: 3 attempts at 5-minute interviews, basic mocks only, no custom interviews or report downloads
- Enterprise: custom pricing for white-label, API access and analytics
At ₹299, Remasto is one of the cheapest paid mock interview options for Indian candidates. Two caveats: purchases are non-refundable (only failed payments are refunded), and prices outside India were not shown on the page we read, so check the country selector before buying. Payments run through Razorpay in India and Stripe elsewhere.
Real-World Performance Issues
We could not find independent user complaints about Remasto, and we are not going to invent any. The honest issue is the missing evidence base: the better-known tools in this category have Trustpilot pages, Reddit threads and independent tests you can read before paying. Remasto does not yet, so claims about feedback quality and the realism of the avatar interviewer are hard to verify from the outside.
Second, the free tier is too short to judge the product. Three 5-minute sessions are enough to see the avatar and the interface, but not enough to know whether the follow-up questions and the scoring hold up across a full 30-minute mock interview. Because passes are non-refundable, the realistic way to test is to buy a daily pass first rather than a month.
Third, practice is only half the job. An avatar mock interview builds fluency and confidence, but it cannot help you in the moment when an interviewer asks something you did not rehearse. If you want support during the actual call, you need a separate real-time tool.

How to Use Remasto
Step 1: Go to remasto.com and create a free account. It runs in the browser; we found no desktop or mobile app.
Step 2: Choose an interview type: a job interview by role or company, a custom interview from your job description or resume, or a visa, MBA admission, salary negotiation or communication session.
Step 3: Start the session and answer the AI interviewer out loud. It asks follow-up questions based on what you say.
Step 4: Review your feedback and scores at the end. Premium users can download the full report.

Remasto vs Interview Sidekick — Deeper Comparison
The main difference is scope. Remasto is a practice studio: you rehearse with an avatar, then review your scores. Interview Sidekick covers practice and the real thing: AI mock interviews you answer out loud with feedback, a question bank of 16,000+ real interview questions from 1,200+ companies, and a real-time assistant that helps during live interviews on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
On price, Remasto is very cheap for Indian users, and its pass model means you never get charged again by surprise. Interview Sidekick has a free tier with no credit card, so you can test both before paying. If all you need is a few weeks of rehearsal, Remasto's ₹299 pass is hard to beat on cost.
Remasto wins clearly on non-job interviews. If you are preparing for a visa interview or an MBA admission interview, it has dedicated modes that Interview Sidekick does not. For job interviews, especially technical and behavioral rounds at specific companies, Interview Sidekick's company-specific questions and live help go further.
On track record, Interview Sidekick has an active public review trail and frequent product updates. Remasto is newer and has almost no independent reviews yet, which matters most because its passes are non-refundable.
