Interview Copilot Review

What is Interview Copilot?
Interview Copilot is an AI interview assistant which helps you to provide live transcriptions along with the answer suggestions to the live interview questions during a live interview —basically a private, on-screen “teleprompter” for interviews.
It listens in, transcribes what’s asked, and instantly crafts polished, context-aware responses tailored to your resume, role, and job description—helping you stay calm, concise, and relevant in real time.
How to Use Interview Copilot
Step 1: Visit their official website and select the option "Get Started for Free"

Step 2: Next select the option "Continue with Google" to open an account.

Step 3: There are 3 steps before you start the Interview session.
Option #1: First select the option "Create Session" and then you get a pop up box or you to add in your JD details as required in the fields.

Option #2: In the next step, you need to share the Interview video tab and the audio.
First start by clicking the first button "Share your audio" to share your computer's audio.

Next select the second button "Share Interview Audio" to share your Interviewer's tab and audio. You can select the Interview tab from the tabs shown.

Strengths of Interview Copilot
Instant safety net for nervous candidates.
Custom-tailored answers based on resume and job description.
Supports multiple formats and languages, making it inclusive.
Practice tools help you rehearse as well as perform.
Weaknesses & Limitations
Risk of over-reliance: Candidates might sound too scripted if they just read the AI answers.
Generic phrasing at times: Even with tailoring, answers can lack the natural, human touch interviewers expect.
Ethical concerns: Using live AI assistance without disclosure may raise trust issues with employers.
Pricing is credit-based: Can feel restrictive compared to more flexible, subscription-style competitors.
Verdict
Interview Copilot is impressive as a real-time safety net. It can help you survive high-pressure moments, especially if you freeze up or struggle with structured answers. But its biggest flaw is also its strength—because it’s designed for in-the-moment assistance, it doesn’t necessarily make you a better interviewee in the long run.
Why Interview Sidekick Is Still Better
While Interview Copilot gives you real-time suggestions, Interview Sidekick takes a more holistic approach to interview prep and performance. Instead of only whispering lines during the interview, Sidekick helps you prepare in advance, practice effectively, and build confidence that lasts beyond a single session.
Depth of Answers: Sidekick is built to generate human-like, realistic responses that feel authentic, not AI-scripted. Copilot often leans toward generic, templated phrasing.
Structured Learning: With Sidekick, you get guided practice tools, FAQs, and scenario-based training, so you understand why an answer works—not just what to say.
UI & Experience: Sidekick emphasizes a clean, modern interface with features like modals, line-by-line rendering, and polished formatting, making it feel natural to use.
Trust & Transparency: Instead of secretly feeding you answers in the moment, Sidekick positions itself as a training companion, helping you build skills you’ll carry into every interview.
Price & Value: Sidekick gives more for less—bundling preparation, practice, and response generation, without locking you into costly credit packs or confusing pricing models.
In short: interview Copilot may help you survive an interview, but Interview Sidekick helps you master them.
